Is This System Right for You?
When to Choose the Aurus 18,000 BTU Mini Split
The Aurus 18,000 BTU Mini Split is an ideal solution for garages, casitas, home offices, detached structures, or any room that runs hotter than the rest of your home. No ductwork is required — installation is clean and fast. 21 SEER2 SEER2 means this system uses significantly less energy than older AC units, and in Phoenix's 7–8 month cooling season, that efficiency delivers real monthly savings. The 18,000 BTU (1.5 Ton) capacity is suitable for spaces up to approximately 900 sq ft, though a proper load calculation accounts for Arizona sun exposure, insulation, and window area. Single-zone mini splits like this are one of the most popular HVAC upgrades among Phoenix Metro homeowners who want to cool a specific problem area without replacing their entire system.
Installation
Installing the Aurus 18,000 BTU Mini Split in Your Phoenix Metro Home
Sapper HVAC performs a Manual J load calculation before every installation to confirm that this system is correctly sized for your specific home. Oversized systems short-cycle, fail early, and fail to control humidity. Undersized systems run continuously and never achieve comfort. Getting the size right is the single most important factor in system performance — and it's something most contractors skip.
The Aurus 18,000 BTU Mini Split installation includes the equipment, labor, refrigerant line set, electrical disconnect, and startup commissioning. Every installation is backed by Sapper HVAC's 2-year labor warranty — in addition to the manufacturer's warranty for this equipment.
Sapper HVAC serves the entire Phoenix Metro Area including Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Queen Creek, and all surrounding cities.
