AC Blowing Warm Air
Warm air from the vents can come from a thermostat setting, outdoor unit problem, failed capacitor, refrigerant issue, dirty coil, compressor problem, or airflow restriction. The symptom alone does not identify the failed part.

Possible causes

Safe checks before calling
- Make sure the thermostat is set to COOL, not FAN only
- Check whether the outdoor unit is running
- Inspect and replace a clogged filter
- If ice is visible, turn cooling off and let the coil thaw before service
The symptom is not always the failed part
